Hello,

I am trying to transfer all my data from my old HDD to my new SSD. When I downloaded Clonezilla to my SSD and try to boot my SSD from the BIOS, all I get is a black screen.

Any ideas on why this is happening?

Did you mean to boot Clonezilla live on your machine, or the cloned system on the SSD?
If it's former, then try the newer Clonezilla live, like 20190108-cosmic:
