    Hi!

I must confess that I'm relatively new to Clonezilla, but I started to successfully use it in July when we started deploying a new set of laptops. At that time, I created an image of one on an external HD I have and then cloned it to all the other laptops. Worked great.

Now we just purchased two more of the same model laptops, so I fire up Clonezilla on DVD and follow the prompts. The HD mounts correctly and I select it as the image source, but when it displays the contents of the drive, I see some folders from the HD but not the image folder.

I'm not sure what could have happened. I verified that the folder does indeed exist on the HD (and it doesn't contain spaces).

I even tried copying the image folder to another HD and using that, but it doesn't display in there either.

Is there a trick to get it to show up again? Not sure what I'm supposed to do here.

Any help you could provide would be great!

    Thanks!

    -Eric

Was that image taken by "saveparts" and now you want to do "restoredisk" by Clonezilla?
If so, Clonezilla won't list the image saved from "saveparts" when you choose "restoredisk".

If not, maybe there is really something weird there. Could you run:
    find /home/partimag -print
and post the results after you mount /home/partimag?

    Steven.
