Hi. I changed the name and place of the folder where is stored the image (but not the names or files in the folder). Clonezilla says there is no image so I can't restore. Is there something I can do?

What's the original name? What's the modified name?

Please mention that with absolute path.

    Thanks.

    Steven.

    Thanks for your answer.

    The old path was:
    D:\CLONEZILLA\EePC161009

    The new path is:
    D:\clonezilla\eepc161009
(D: is the mobile flash card)

    Directory of D:\clonezilla\eepc161009

    Info-dmi.txt      9,616

    Info-lshw.txt     18,190

    Info-packages.txt     247

    sdb-chs.sf      36

    sdb-mbr     512

    sdb-pt.parted     256

    sdb-pt.sf     259

    Hope this is enough information.

This morning, I have been able to restore an older backup (other Windows) done with the same version of Clonezilla and on the same computer. I took it from a CD, copied it on the flash card and it worked. Comparing, there is a file named "Disk" in the folder which works and not in the others.

Can you explain, at least for me not to do again the same mistake.

Thank you very much for your attention.

The image in the dir "D:\clonezilla\eepc161009" was saved from partitions, not from disk. Therefore make sure you are restoring the image to partitions, not to disk.

    Steven.

Thanks a lot (and sorry for such a simple mistake): it worked perfectly.
