before copying an existing image to a destination machine, disk partitioning has to be done… now my question is whether it's ok to create the windows partitions for windows through linux' cfdisk… because clearly there's difference between partitioning with cfdisk and partitioning with a windows setup disk… when partitioning with windows, you usually end up with 8mb of unpartitioned space (i don't know why)… with cfdisk you don't get that and hence the partition sizes come out differently (not big difference but still)… which method to use? thanks

From my experience, both should work.
Maybe I am wrong :)
