I've tried twice to restore a partition from an image done with Clonezilla Live. Both times, it seemed like the restoration was properly done (at first glance, everything was in the right place and worked properly). But both times, the process was interrupted and I got those messages:
" … CRC error again at -145051648 … Partclone fail, please check /var/log/partclone.log Finished unicast restoring image 2010-06-30-img to /dev/sda4. Failed to restore partition image file /home/partimag/2010-0630-img to /dev/sda4. Maybe this image is corrupted"
I have a couple of questions concerning this.
First, how can I access the log? There is no partclone.log file in /var/log/ of the restored partition. So where is this file?
Second, is there anyway to evaluate what part of the restoration or how much of the restoration wasn't done properly (since it seems to be OK at first glance)?
Many thanks for your help!!!
