I'm sorry if this has been asked to death but how do I get Clonezilla to work on my computer? My motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3P Rev 2.0 LGA 775 and I don't think I've updated the BIOS past the disc it came with.

I downloaded the Clonezilla ISO file (i586) stable version 2.3.2-22 and installed it onto my 8 GB USB flash drive using the Tuxboot method described on the Clonezilla website. I went into the boot menu after rebooting and chose USB-ZIP and USB-HDD, both giving me the same error. Other choices led to a regular boot up of Windows.

I then reformatted the USB flash drive and tried the manual method, this time downloading the Clonezilla ZIP file (i586) stable version 2.3.2-22 and followed the directions on the website word for word. Using the boot menu once again after rebooting, I came to the same result.

Is there something I'm missing or is it an incompatibility, perhaps my motherboard/BIOS is too old? I haven't the faintest idea.

I do not think it's MB/BIOS too old.
Could you please take a photo about the error on the screen then post it?
It's easier for us to understand the whole picture.
BTW, did you try the testing Clonezilla live on
    http://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
    ?
    Like 20150420-vivid or 2.4.1-11.
    Thanks.

    Steven.

It's something like this : http://u1312.hizliresim.com/1j/b/vcsyl.jpg - sorry this picture doesn't come from my computer but the error message and circumstances is pretty much that. I haven't tried the testing releases since I was under the impression that those would be less stable.

Well, please give testing Clonezilla live a try. Just boot it to check the boot menu if working or not. After that, just turn it off. Normally this won't harm your device.

    Steven.
