Thanks in advance for any help.
I've been using Clonezilla for a few years (many thanks to the people who created it, it is fantastic) and I have never had any problem. I use it on Windows laptops. The single laptop harddrive is partitioned into 2 (C: for OS and D: for storage). I load Clonezilla and clone an image of C to D. Always worked so I've never had to learn much about how Clonezilla works.
But now when Clonezilla finishes I boot Windows to look for the image but it isn't there. It is nowhere on the computer and the D: drive (where the image was saved to) is completely empty (100% of the space still available).
Does anyone know what could be happening?
Thanks again.

When you save the image, are you sure your D: (in Clonezilla live it might be /dev/sda2) is mounted as /home/partimag/ ?
If it's not successfully mounted, your image will be saved to RAM.
