I try making an image of a hard disk. I used the most recent version of the live cd.
I want to save the image via samba shares (which seem to work, because at least the directory with the datetime is created).
After I did all the settings (I left the most things standard), it starts to do stuff but immediatly after the "are you sure?" and "let's go", it stops with the message "/home/partimag/timstamp/sda-pt.sf: no such file or directory". The same message appears with several other filenames, and lastly "sfdisk failed, abort".
Can anyone help me with this, what do I do?

Looks like the image was not saved correctly. Did you see any error messages (in red) when you saved the image?
Could you run the following in Clonezilla live (after the image repository is mounted):
find /home/partimag/timstamp -print
then post the results?
Steven.
