I installed Windows 7 on my 1.5TB hard drive, but later I upgraded my motherboard, and I had to reinstall windows. I didn't have anywhere to back my files up to, so I shrank the partition and installed windows 7 again on the remaining space. I have copied everything that is important to the second partition, and deleted the first one, but I can't expand the partition from the second part of the drive to the first. The space of the first one is bigger then the second, so I am planning to clone the second one on to the first. Then I can delete the second one and so on… What I want to know is will this software be able to complete this cloning how I want it to so that I can access the full space of my oversized hard drive with my windows partition?

Yes, Clonezilla is able to clone the smaller partition to the larger one, and with "-r" option in the advanced mode, it can resize the filesystem to fit the partition size.
//NOTE// Backup important data before you use Clonezilla, especially when you want to do the partition to partition clone on the same disk. It's very risky… you might choose the wrong source and destination (and you might hit some bugs)… So BE VERY CAREFUL, please.

    Steven.
