I'm trying to image the disk on my Dell OptiPlex 9030 to a Samba share, but every version of Clonezilla that I've tried is getting stuck at the point where it is trying to get a DHCP assigned network address from the server.
So far, I've tried both the stable and testing branches of Clonezilla, and both the regular and alternate releases. They all seem to have this issue, which I think is a problem with Linux properly recognizing the Intel i217-LM network chipset on this system.
Has anyone else had this problem with this particular system? If so, how did you get around it?

We keep updating the Clonezilla live in the testing release branch. There are some new here: http://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
Maybe you can give them a try. Especially
Clonezilla live 20150731-wily or 2.4.2-29. They come with Linux kernel v4 so it might help.

It seems that booting the Clonezilla disk in legacy mode instead of UEFI mode helps, but I'm not sure if that's going to be 100% reliable.
