I have a new NVMe SSD that's 1TB that I want to clone to from a SATA 1TB SSD. The NVMe is slightly smaller than the SATA drive. So I tried to create an unallocated partition on the source drive hoping it would compress down. There's a recovery partition all the way on the right side of the disk management bar graph, that I believe is failing to make the cut of the clone thus the failure. Can I just choose not to clone over then unallocated partition so there's plenty of room? That partition is about 300 GB. Attached are the failure logs from my two attempts.
