my server running AD crashed and I need to restore it.
I have daily Windows server image backups.
But for whatever reason I get an error message when I try to restore it:
The processor architecture or OS version of Windows Recovery Environment is not the same as that of the computer that was backed up
I can restore the C; drive to a different location.
I can also restore AD and sysvol to a different drive.
Can I use clonzilla to restore the server?
Basically all I need is booting a live system running in RAM and overwriting the connected disks with the backup images
Thanks and Regards,
Andreas
