My disk failed and trying to recover its' contents with Clonezilla Live. It is a 2TB disk and because hdd is in fault mode, it reads a few hundred MBs per minute. This will take days to complete.
I wonder in case of a problem if cloning interrupts, is there a way to start cloning from a known sector. I am writing down current sector every 2 hours or so. I am cloning sector by sector (raw) because ntfs is dirty and cannot proceed unless raw mode is selected.
Kind regards,

I suggest you use "dd-rescue" to deal with that if it's physical issue.
