I ran Clonezilla from the Parted Magic Live Disc, in order to make a clone of one of my partitions. This was supposed to be a routine job(I've done this w/o problems tons of times), however, this time, I accidentally chose 'advanced' user options in the initial menu and later on, after choosing the destination drive, it asked me a lot of stuff that I didn't understand. So, I exited out by entering 'n' at some point. NOW, it turns out that clonezilla has formatted my 500GB external hardrive into 1 20Gb partition and the rest is unallocated space!! Is there anyway to restore the initial state?
Please help ASAP. I'll provide more info if and when you need it. Thanks!

Format the HD?
How come…
Did you try to use the program "testdisk" to recover the partition table?
