I tried runing Clonezilla on my laptop - to clone a SSD - however I cannot get Clonezilla to run. It seems to start ok, but when I select the video resolution it will just go to a black screen and not come back no matter how much I wait. I've tried all the resolution options, safe mode. I've tried preparing the USB thumbdrive with Tuxboot as well as Rufus, both 2.6.0-37-i686-pae and 2.6.0-37-amd64 versions?
The same thumbdrive will go through the video resolution stage on another laptop just fine.
Best regards,
Georgi

Please give newer, testing Clonezilla live a try, like >= 2.6.1-19 or 20190320-disco:

I resolved my issue. I don't know wat the issue was but when I prepared the thumbdrive with Etcher it worked. In safe mode, I should say.

Georgi
OK, sure, the safe mode is worth to try.
Thanks for your feedback.
