This one is weird.
I have used clonezilla on several machine with no problem. Even used to restore in a couple of cases.
With one machine (Acer Aspire M5640 desktop) about half way through (when it asks me for the language), all of a sudden the program stops responding to the keyboard. Happens every time, always at the same place.
Booting for CD created from the ISO file.

Not very sure, however, please give different versions of Clonezilla live a try, e.g. Clonezilla live 20110530-natty. It comes with different kernel, so the result might be diffrent.
Steven.

Finally got a chance to try the new version.
After the initial splash screen I get a light grey screen with a flashing cursor in the upper lsft.
Nothing seems to work.
Thansk anyway

Or try Clonezilla live 1.2.9-10, it comes with newer kernel 2.6.39, so it might help.
