I have a dual boot laptop running xp pro and mandriva linux. I have several partitions on the hard drive for data, media, the linux stuff, windows apps, etc.
Can I use clonezilla to create a disc image of the entire harddrive and store to an external hard drive?
If so, does the partition I intend to store to need to be a certain file type (ntfs, fat, etc)?
thanx in advance...

Robert,
Yes. Clonezilla live can create a disc image of the entire harddrive and store to an external hard drive.
The partition you intend to store to need to be a certain file type, which Linux supports, like ext3, reiserfs, jfs, xfs, ntfs or fat.
