Hi,
As I posted here http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-software-2/clonezilla-cant-find-disk-image-696785/#post3728662.
I made the clone to external usb hard drive.
Then I copied the entire files to a virtual disk that I attach to my virtual machine as second hard drive.
The second drive mount correctly and the files are all at /home/partimag/
But CloneZilla didn't see it :"No disk or partitions image directory is found in /home/partimag! Programme terminé!!!!"
What can I do to restore my image ?
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
This is very disheartening. I just compared 2 image dirs. One was a complete working backup of an SuSe install I have, and the other one I just made was of a Ubuntu install I just created. The new image I made has several files missing that the other good one has….WTF? CZ ran it's cycle and gave me no indication of problems. Now I have an image file which is essentially useless and I'm out about 15 hours worth of work. Good job CZ. Looks like shamantao and I are OOL… These were USB flashdrive installs.

Please run:
find /home/partimag -print
Then post the results.

Sorry to hear that. As shown in the first dialog menu, Clonezilla is _NOT_ perfect. So back up important data before you use Clonezilla. We mean that…
