Ok, I have struggled with this for the last couple days, and I know it seems easy, but I don't really understand how to do this. Most of the videos and tutorials don't go over the newest version of clonezilla, so I am scared to deploy the image, in the fear that it will deploy it over the source machine.
Has anyone had experience doing this?

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
While in the local machine, you also boot the same version of Clonezilla live, and choose "remote dest", then follow the wizard. Of course, both you have to configure the network.
//NOTE// Backup important data before you use Clonezilla. Just in case.

Basically it's like this:
http://clonezilla.org/show-live-doc-content.php?topic=clonezilla-live/doc/03_Disk_to_disk_clone
However, what you need to choose in the source machine is
http://clonezilla.org/clonezilla-live/doc/03_Disk_to_disk_clone/images/ocs-05-2-device-device-clone.png
Choose "remote source", then follow the wizard.
