So can Clonezilla now clone easily a VeraCrypt encrypted HDD? I saw last year you seem to have fixed it? Any tests?
There was an old post years back saying how to clone it using Macrium Reflect, but the last 2 steps seem like a road bump and maybe Clonezilla solves that for me? See below, it sounds related to what you said you fixed.
1) creation of a bootable WINPE pendrive containing Macrium and Veracyrpt
2) Forensic clone is required
3) Restoring the boot/bcd file
4) Restoring the original DISK ID.
Thanks for your input.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Yes, Clonezilla is able to save and restore the volume header of Veracrypt.
However, I have no idea about your step 3... Not sure if it's required or not. I am not really familiar with MS Windows.
For more info, you can refer to previous discussions: https://sourceforge.net/p/clonezilla/discussion/Clonezilla_live/thread/76c9794d/
