Hi guys I am having a problem creating a disk image of an 1001HA EEEPC and for some reason it is hanging after imaging for 1 minute and 10 seconds, I am going crazy over this! Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Prior to attempting to clone the EEEPC I have succesfully cloned a standard laptop and restored that image to the same laptop with no problem.
I am using clonezilla server edition on a debian linux box which is connected to an internal network via a switch (which the EEEPC is also connected too) and also has another connection to the internet (through a proxy)
Bearing in mind everything worked fine for the first run on an old laptop, can anyone think of a reason why it is booting into pxe and everything goes smoothly until I hit the dreaded '1 minute 10 seconds' mark of cloning?
Thanks in advance!

I've tried using clonezilla live, no luck - I used 'Maverick'
I managed to create an image using clonezilla live, I then copied this image onto my tftp server and tried to restore the laptop from the image - but when I tried to restore using the image it said that the image was corrupt.
:-(
I'm at my wits end!

"then copied this image onto my tftp server and tried to restore the laptop from the image" -> Clonezilla live does _NOT_ support reading image on a tftp server. Howe did you make that?
Steven.

Please anyone got any ideas?
Instead of Clonezilla SE, could you give Clonezilla live, e.g. 20101106-maverick or 1.2.6-40 a try?
Maybe the results will be different.
Steven.
Hi Steven, thanks a lot for the answer! I will give this a try on Monday, thanks for the input.
A quick question: How many machines am I able to image at the same time on Clonezilla live?
Cheers!
