Can please someone explain the concept of backuping and restoring with clonezilla concerning the diskformat/fileformat/trim/disk sector.
I want to know if you create a complete backup of a disk and restore this again on a hdd disk or ssd will be than the file sectors in an origin state? Or could it be that the new file system differs from the origin and having than for example performance problems with new disk?
Also if restoring on a ssd, are there any problems or will clonezilla do this correctly (trim support)?
In this context is it better tu use the option in advanced mode -q1 "Force to use sector-by-sector copy" when creating a backup?
Regards.

A short answer:
I think it gives any problems with 'Hyper-Threading' between the quick ssd and the old drive.

I would use
SSD for Windows and the hidden partition
and
the old drive for data (without windows).
Is yours similar to 'Cloning smaller partition to new larger drive?' in clonezilla help ?
