    Hi All:

I created a Windows 7 - 64bit 'Golden Image' built on a i3 to be used in imagining new machines that we bring live.  The HD is 250GB and I created a 60GB partition to house the OS and apps and the user data on another partition.  I have successfully imaged desktops with the same config, an i5 and i7 machine.

Today I tried to image a Core 2 Duo with a new 300 GB HD installed and the image successfully completes.  But Windows is stuck in a reboot loop.

I used the Beginner mode and did not sysprep before imaging.  Is there a setting I'm missing, should I have syspreped, or is this a HAL issue, etc?

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    DLee

"Today I tried to image a Core 2 Duo with a new 300 GB HD installed and the image successfully completes. But Windows is stuck in a reboot loop." -> Did you restore the image to different hardware? Or?

    Steven.

u have to sysprep before imaging the OS or else you will not be able to distribute that same image to other computers.
