I'm new on clonezilla. I'm mostly using to save/restore laptop disks to a network server.
I would to customize the live cd. But problem is, that I am really confused/lost facing the all documentation. Fact is, I don't know where to begin. Do I have to install the live cd on partition of an existing OS ( say ubuntu) then customize then put it back on iso? Another question is, where are the scripts files located? I would like to change the default behaviour when clonezilla startup. And where should I put new scripts that I want to write?
Thanks a lot,
Laurent

Sorry about the misplaced question :S
I have already checked the link you've provide me. I understand where how to create new scripts. One thing that I want to achieve is to modify the default behaviour of Clonezilla Live when it starts up. Actually, I want to set up the keyboard automaticaly and go straight to the choice of the image to restore. So, my guess is to modify the scripts and hardcode all the differents operations that currently doing this. I think it is possible but I don't know what are the files that I have to take care of...
My second question is if want to add custom scripts, how to I control the order of all the scripts that clonezilla live cd launches? Is it possible to add a script that will be launched at a specific time ?
Thanks a lot!
Laurent

As for your 2nd question, for the time being, if you use the method provided by http://clonezilla.org/clonezilla-live/#make_custom_clonezilla_live, the customized script will be run after all the services are done, and right after the auto login starts. Unless you hack more, otherwise no other specific time you can allow your customzied script to be run.

Hi Laurent,
Actually for keyboard setting and some other options, you can assign them via boot parameters. For more info, please check:
