I have seen several threads about similar errors, but nothing from the Clonezilla version that I am using. I have made an image of local drive and to test I am trying to restore to the same drive and I get the error "Unable to find target partition "sda2"".
I have attached the log file.
I am using clonezilla-live-2.6.1-25-i686-pae on a USB thumb drive with two partitions. One to boot clonezilla from and one to store my images.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mike
Somehow the sfdisk command failed to create the partition table on your disk /dev/sda.
Could you please give testing Clonezilla live 2.6.2-10 or 20190618-eoan a try? https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php

I tried both of those and I get the same results. Is there something else I can try or information I can provide that might help?
Thanks
Mike
Just in case this would help I have attached all the log files from /var/log
No idea. However, is this issue always reproducible on other different machines?
