    Clonezilla: 2.6.0-37

I have a home server running Debian (Buster/Sid). It has a small disk for boot/swap/var etc. The bulk data (shared media, user home directories etc.) is on a Btrfs Raid1 mirror on top of two raw SATA disks (no partitions) that are GPT formatted.

I downloaded the latest stable (2.6.0-37) release of Clonezilla and booted off a USB stick with the intention of imaging all the disks to an external USD backup disk.

Imaging the boot disk in "whole disk" mode worked fine, but I hit problems with the Btrfs disks. Clonezilla just keeps reporting "Input device not found!" and won't proceed.

I've seen this error mentioned in these forums going back over many years, and the only advice given is to try another release of Clonezilla.

Is this truly the only approach? It would be nice to know what's actually causing this, he error message isn't very helpful. The device for each disk is clearly there in /dev, it's just that CZ either can't see it, or doesnt recognise the device as readable.

Maybe your issue is related to this:
    https://sourceforge.net/p/clonezilla/bugs/318/
Not sure. If it is, we will fix it in the next testing Clonezilla live.
Since testing Clonezilla live has some improvements, and bugs fixed, therefore it's recommended to test it since normally the stable release is not changed for a few months.
