    hey All,
firstly I would like to thank for bringing this spectacular  software clonezilla for us and thanks for masters for sharing their experiences in this forum.
my intention, was moving to bigger hard drive with using clonezilla.
I read the instructions but obviously I missed something because original hard drive was 250 gb, I want it move to 1TB but, I copied to usb drive then restore it 1 TB
however it is showing, 750 unalloacted:((
CentOS server platform is being used and Gparted installed.
    so
    1) is there any way to make it use all this space without putting the server down(power off)?
2)if we need to make the server down, and restore with clonezilla on what step should I pay attention and do it correctly

greatly appreciate for your time and sharing experiences…

    For your questions,
(1). Not really. Normally once it's booted, the partition is mounted… Unless it's not in use, then you can resize it.
(2). Enter expert mode, choose option "-k1".
//NOTE// Remember to back up important data before you use clonezilla. Just in case.

    Steven.

    thanks for quick reply.
Do I need to choose expert mode -k1 only restoring or
both when I copy to usb and restore it back from usb?
    thank you in advance
