I opened up a ticket here. My problem is that Clonezilla fails to clone a disk or just a partition using the default configuration on a disk with a btrfs formatted partition. I want to be able to use restoredisk to restore the image if it is needed.

During the imaging process this is what happens:

Starting to clone device (/dev/sdb5) to image (-) Reading Super Block Calculating bitmap... Please wait... Checking the disk space... Failed to use partclone program to save or restore an image! Press "Enter" to continue......

What I think should happen is that on error it would automatically proceed to partimage and then dd (I know dd can successfully clone the partition). It doesn't do this. And pressing Enter does nothing. It is stuck until I reboot using Ctrl+Alt+Delete or cycling power on the computer.

Is there anything that can be done?
