I just recently cloned my first drive. it was a linux based phone system and i cloned it onto another similar machine...same hard drive, similar internals, etc. Problem is that when i try to assign a new IP to the new (cloned machine) it doesnt stick. keep shouwing up as 127.0.0.0. The drivers look like theyre there. anyone else have this problem or know how to solve this?

Maybe it's because the MAC address of the restored machine is different, so your DHCP server won't lease any IP address to it ?
