yesterday I tried to clone me windows 8 installation from a 128 GB sandisk M2. SSD drive to a 1TB Samsung EVO 840 (sector to sector). This worked fine. But then when I tried to clone the content of The 840 Evo to my new Samsung SM951 MZHPV12 HDGL-00000 it was not dedected. I used a live USB with the version number "clonezilla-live-20150608-vivid-amd64", created with the recent tuxboot version. What can I do so the drive becomes detected? Is there a more recent version that can do the job? By the side: What options are recommended when I want to clone from M2 SSD to SSD and then back to the new M2 SSD? I used the following line:
"/usr/sbin/OCS-onthefly -g auto -e1 auto -e2 -j2 -r -q1 -f sda -t sdb"
for the first step that worked quite well.
Thanks!

If you meant the disk was not detected, you can try Clonezilla live 2.4.2-32 or 20150805-wily: http://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
Both of them come with newer Linux kernel 4.1 so it might support the hardwrae better.

Thanks for your reply. I will try this out. Maybe it is not detected because my motherboard is lacking PCI-lanes on this M2-connector, I send a support ticket to the manufacturer.
