Anyone have thoughts on this? I have an old thinkpad (T23) which has an "ultraby". I want to clone my hard drive to a drive in the bay. To do that, I have to put the CDRW in the bay to boot (you gather I can't boot off of USB), read clonezilla into RAM, remove the bay, insert the second HD into the bay and then clone.
Under Windoze, at least, you need to run an eject utility that is part of some thinkpad control software. The Linux version of this software is the package called "tpctl".
So, how do I get the tpctl package into clonezilla??
Any thoughts? - Thanks in advance!

If you mean you need that runtime, you can try to do that in clonezilla live:
1. Configure your internet connection in Clonezilla live by:
sudo su -; ocs-live-netcfg
2. run
apt-get update; apt-get install tpctl (If tpctl is available in Debian Etch).

Steve. Ok, I've never done this before, but I'll be damned if I'm going to be stuck on MS$ forever - I'll give it a try. Now, I'm going to have to figure out how to get my wireless driver on there so I can get on the net ... It's a ubiquity SRC. If you have any thoughts, let me know. Otherwise, I'll be back in a bit with a report.
Thanks much!
