I am testing Clonezilla in a virtual machine. my testing machine has C and D partitions. I take a backup from the C partition and the windows default partitions ( recovery partition and ....) but not from the D partition. in my scenario the default windows partitions or C partition files have broken and I want to restore the files of these partion but D partition files remain intact. I restore the image with Clonezilla and in one step select the" -k do not create a partition table on the target disk" option. after the restore is complete I check the D partition but the files have been deleted. is there a way to backup and restore without affecting D partition??
