I've tried this several times, but end up with the same result: partitions which are RAW.

    I have a 60GB SSD and a 120GB SSD. The 60GB has 1 partition (not including the 100MB partition Windows creates). Windows 7 x64 SP1.

What I end up with on the 120GB is a 200MB RAW partition (why 200?) and a 111GB RAW partition. Obviously, neither are usable.

    My steps:
    0. Partition and format 120GB as 1 NTFS partition so that Clonezilla will recognize it.

    1. Start Clonezilla Live from a USB stick.
    2. Go through basic steps.
    3. Choose "device-device"
    4. Choose "Expert Mode"
    5. Choose "part_to_local_part"
    6. Choose source and target partition. Careful to choose the actual partition from source and not the 100MB system part.
    7. In Advanced Parameters:
        uncheck -g
        check -m
        leave all other options alone.
    8. Extra Parameters; I choose -k1

Then I let Clonezilla do it's thing. It appears to work properly (taking time, but not a lot, as both are SSDs) Toward the end, right before I'm prompted to hit Enter, I can see that Clonezilla is having issues with the MFT and filesystem of the new partition.

I then boot into Windows to look at the results: 200MB RAW part, 111GB RAW part. Obviously it won't boot.

I've also tried disk_to_local_disk at step 5, but it makes no difference. What am I doing wrong?

I solved the problem above by stepping back to 1.2.6-59-i686 and using disk-to-disk in Basic Mode. I then simply used Windows functionality to extend the partition into the remaining unused space.

Incidentally, the issues I was having above were with 1.2.8-46-i686 (and also i486).
