Hangs (blinking cursor) while creating an image from a Linux partition to a USB hard drive.
Last console output: "Saving the hidden data between MBR and first partition….."
I used beginners mode, and chose to save the Linux partition to the root directory on the USB hard drive. I'm using latest version of Clonezilla-Live on a USB Flash drive.

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
After having to forcefully shutdown the netbook while Clonezilla appeared to be stuck for at least 45 minutes, I found out that apparently Clonezilla was indeed saving the image to my external drive (because there was an image on the USB drive that was about 14GB. Should have been about 22GB, if it had completed)
So now my question is, why wasn't a completion percentage displayed in the console? I know I was using the current version of Clonezilla-Live because I downloaded it from Sourceforge by clicking the "latest version" link.

Do you know the version number of Clonezilla live there?
Please browse the text file "Clonezilla-Live-Version" and you should be able to know that.
