There is another error msg …
Warning: /dev/sda contains GPT signatures, incdicating that it has a GPT table. However., it does not have a valid fake msdos partition table, as it should. Perhaps it was corrupted - possibly by a program that doesn't understand GPT partition tables. Or perhaps you deleted the GPT table, and are now using an msdos partition table. Is this a GPT partition table?

Hi ,
i try to create a disk image via clonezilla live (version. 20120123-precise) and save it on a samba storage. Unfortunately this error pops up:
"Broken partition images were found or some of them are not cloneable in this image: imagename"
I try to clone standard Win 7 Pro installation on a NTFS partitions with mbr + system recovery volume .
I checked the partions with scandisk. They seems to be clean and without any errors.
The disk is a OCZ 80 GB Agility 2 SSD.
Need some help !
Cheers

I believe the complete messages are:
"Broken partition images were found, or some of them are not checkable in this image: imagename".
Do not ignore the message "or some of them are not checkable". Maybe it's due to the image was saved by dd mode, so it's not checkable.
Could you please post the content of the image dir like this?

Hi , unfortunately … the openid login does not work properly .
So i checked all partions … no errors found at all in MS Windows.
As i said … those partions where created by default Windows setup.
So maybe somehow there is some unknown issue for Clonezilla or partclone.
Does anyone on this forum has similar issue?
Steven.

... i'm lost.
I choose "basic menu" and "check all partitions" .. and all partitions are restorable now ... what happens ?
Last edit: Cool 2014-01-25
Did you run a memtest check?
It looks like some hardware issue there...
Just a guess.
Steven.
