(I posted this same thing in the DRBL forum by accident, so I've just copied it here where it's more relevant)
I'm imaging a lot of machines, and I'm having trouble working with a samba server. I tested things out at first, by storing/restoring an image onto an external hard drive, and that seemed to work fine. When I tried to restore the same image from a samba server I get a bunch of read errors. Clonezilla detects the image fine, but it gives a "missing file or directory" type warning, saying that it failed to restore /home/partimag/general_noSysprep/sda1*. I tried capturing a new image and storing it on the server, and the image is captured fine, but I get the same read errors during the image checking process. As far as I can tell it seems like Clonezilla can write to the server fine, but these problems come up when it tries to read back from the server.

When you see the error, please run:
find /home/partimag -print
then post the results.
