Just letting you guys know that this version is very slow to load on my system. It takes about five minutes to get to the first screen of Clonezilla. If I try safe mode, I only get a bright grey screen and nothing else.
Once I have made an image the screen then goes blank and I get an 'Out of Range' message on my monitor and cannot see anything on screen. The image restores fine, I think, but I have to memorise which keys to use to shutdown Clonezilla CD as I can't see anything on screen.
Well, I've been doing some prolonged testing this afternoon (Sydney time) and have found I am able to avoid the monitor 'Out of Range' issue if I select Safe Graphics Settings in clonezilla-live20100506-lucid
My image of Lucid OS can now be created and restored with no problems.
clonezilla-live20100506-lucid seems to be the only version that will work properly with my new system (via Safe Graphics Settings) and I am happy about that.
I have restored Windows 7 64bit twice on my internal testing drive with no problems that I can see and have also restored Lucid OS with no problems. The Windows restore took about 12 minutes as there was a long pause after it reached 100% with just a flashing cursor for four minutes but then the image restored fine and worked well.
Lucid OS took about 8 minutes to restore.

Orographic,
Thanks for sharing the info with us. I believe the problem is on the kernel framebuffer compatibility. I have to wait for the kernel to be updated in Lucid repository so that I can create another Clonezilla live.
Steven.

Thanks Steven for all of the work that you do. I am patient and am happy to wait for the kernel to be updated.
