I know this is possible but I just can't work out how to do it. How do I install and run Clonezilla from within a running Ubuntu OS for the purposes of imaging unmounted disks and/or partitions? The ideal situation would be that I click on a shortcut (the shortcut I can deal with ones I have a target) and a window appears with the same dialogues that appear for the live CD.
So, anyone able to help with instructions?

If you mean you want to install Clonezilla-related programs on your running Ubuntu system, actually you can follow: http://drbl.sourceforge.net/one4all/
to do that. You only have to follow step 1 (this should have be done there) and step 2. Just ignore step 3 and 4.
Steven.
