I have a HP Pavilion dv6 laptop, which came with a pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium SP 1.
Lately, the HDD (OEM) is representing some bad blocks and overheating problems, so I decided to perform a clone procedure to a new HDD.
I downloaded the latest stable version of Clonezilla Live CD (AMD64), and performed the cloning procedures just as the tutorial. However, when booting with the new HDD, it says:
Image loading failure. Reload image!
I did some research, and found out about the Windows 7 OEM issue.
Since I didn't get an OEM Windows Recovery CD, I used the HP Recovery Manager to create my own System Recovery Media to a pendrive. But when I use it, it simply fails and says it doesn't support this media.
This is my third attempt, and nothing.
What should I do next?
Thank you in advance.

I think there are any problems with the memory (RAM) of your laptop caused by the high temperature.
In the 'clonezilla live' menu can you find the option 'memtest'. You can test it.
An other question is have you made 'savedisk' or only 'saveparts' ? The hidden partition should not be forgotten. Here is the recovery program of Windows7 generally.
I hope the motherboard and the CPU fan are all right yet.
Good luck!
