I have two internal disks sda and sdb. They both have 4 partitions. I have an image of sda1 and sda2 on sda4. I want to put that image on sdb1 and sdb2.
I can mount /home/partimg fine and select the image repo, but when I select "restoreparts", it only gives me the option of restoring to sda1 and sda2. Why isn't there an option to restore to sdb1 and sdb2?
To be clear I have mirrored the partion table of sda onto sdb, and made sure the paritions are slightly larger too. They are formatted to the correct filesystem.
Do I need to select 1-2-mdisks to do this?
The image itself is fine and is restorable.
Thanks

If you want to restore the image saved from sda* to sdb*, you have to tune the image first:

//NOTE// It's recommended to backup the image before you modify it. Just in case.
