It is the latest download of debian stable. Are they supposed to be there? I tried to do it manually, but I'm not sure how to change the names of the files in the saved partition from a syntax point of view. The procedure needed is to relocate the backup partition to a different one on restore, of course.

"..to relocate the backup partition to a different one .."
Look for 'how to restore a saved partition image to a different device' in Clonezilla Help.
    But
in the new versions it is created an other mount point (directory) for the live media.
You can use the new script diffpart.sh directly (Attachment).

I have already read that section. But the scripts mentioned are nowhere to be found in the Clonezilla Live filesystem. So I manually changed the name of the original backed up partition and renamed the files in its directory. I also downloaded the latest listed release and the situation about the scripts are the same. I'll check out the attachment, as I waited for a response on this forum. But that part is essentially complete and now I will proceed to tweak the boot process, unless your attached script takes care of that as well. Where in the documentation is that script mentioned?

OK, I found your script on the Clonezilla wiki. At the point I am now, I just need to restore the partition to a different one and reinstall (if needed) my Grub bootloader. So I will proceed this time manually, and keep your script in mind if the same situation should arise again. Thanks for your advice.
