I want to know is there any option to clone only selected logical volumes.
If I have for example:
/dev/sda1 /boot
/dev/sda2 LVM PV with logical volumes:
/dev/main/root
/dev/main/swap
/dev/main/home
/dev/main/var/log/
When I boot clonezilla and want to save selected partition I can only select /dev/sda1 or /dev/sda2 (with all logical volumes). Is there any way to clone only /dev/main/root ?

On the dialog menu, there is no such option.
However, you could manually to run partclone to clone that.
Steven.
Thanks. Would you add this option to Clonezilla in future release?
Could you please provide us with a aproved way to do a 'partclone' backup and restore via CloneZilla terminal ?
Is there a HowTo ?
Thanks a lot.
You can refer to the website of Partlclone:

Of course, some knowledge about LVM is required.
Steven
Yes, the only problem is, it takes time to do that.
There are some many things here.
Therefore patches are welcome.
Thanks.
Steven.
