Good morning people,
I'm trying to backup the disk from HP Blade BL460 G1 mounting RedHat x64 with the latest clonezilla version: clonezilla-live-1.2.11-23-amd64.iso
Linux oitwi11 2.6.18-164.el5 #1 SMP Tue Aug 18 15:51:48 EDT 2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.4 (Tikanga)
I tried to sent the disk backup to a local USB disk. Unfortunately CloneZilla can't complete the backup with the following error (Btw, the /boot partition is saved OK):
when clonezilla starts to work on the LVM i get these errors (or something similar):
Parsing LVM layout…

From the files list of your image, apparently the saving action failed. Your image is not complete. We haven't tested CCISS RAID card imaging for a long time since we do not have such a card for us to test here. Not sure if the codes are broken.
Does anyone on this forum have imaged CCISS RAID drive successfully?

Unfortunately these blades are in a closed network located in Rome and used by one of the biggest Italian telephone company. Sorry but, for security reason, remote access is highly restricted to only a few people, and I cannot do nothing for that!
BTW, Is there any commands and/or actions I can do for you?
For now I found a workaround, just remove one Blade disk and put into a Proliant DL385 where clonezilla works (Smart Array P400). BTW, would be better to clone the disk in place, to be sure the data are preserved!
