Hello,
I have a laptop that I am upgrading the hard drive on.
I have 2 partitions, one for windows and one for data.
I want to copy the windows portion onto another partition on the new hard drive so I can keep them separate, but not copy the second partition with data.
So when using Clonezilla Live do I select it as save image or save partition?
I am guessing partition, but I am unclear on what exactly that will do.
Thanks in advance.

In your case, you can choose "save partition".
However, when you restore the image, only "restoreparts" is available, and it won't deal with the boot loader and partition table on the destination disk, which you have to know first.
