I have an ageing, dying system (ahem, I'll not mention the OS but it ain't M$, or Linux, and it comes from utah), and I want to clone the HD and restore it into a VM (prolly M$ VM) to recover and test info.
Can it do this ?

  Clonezilla might be able to do such a clone, since if the filesystem is not supported by partimage or ntfsclone, it will use dd to save and restore.
