Hello.  I'm beginning to test Clonezilla and I've run into a problem.  I'm using the stable release of the Clonezilla server edition, and I have a server with DRBL set up and a single client, both connected to an HP Procurve 10/100 24m hub.  There is nothing else attached to the hub.  I then run /opt/drbl/sbin/dcs and choose to start clonezilla, with the option to name the image on the client and default for the rest of the options.  When I boot my client in PXE It loads and then asks me to name the file, and then to choose the harddrive.  After that, it runs for a while until it gets to this:

    Filename     Size     T: Elapsed/Estimated     Rate/min     Progress
    stdout       S: 170M  T: 00:00:15/00:03:21     R: 662M/min  P: 6%

Where it doesn't move (it has sat there for over an hour now)

I'm running a packet sniffer (wireshark) on the server and TCP packets are still being sent from both I.P. addresses, however there seems to be a large number of "retransmission" packets as well.

Some other information:  I'm running Fedora 8 on both machines.  The computers themselves are identical gateway computers with 3com 3c905c-TX/TX-M ethernet cards.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Update:  After the initial post I went back to check the machine, and the progress has changed to 9%.  However, the "time remaining" has now jumped to the 9 hour mark, and the rate has decreased to 4M/min.  The size is now listed as 227M.

It appears that the the saving hasn't completely hung, but slowed considerably.  Is this typical?

Of course this is not typical. Normally the speed will about 200 MB/min to a few gigabytes/min.
Did you check any error messages in /var/log/message in your drbl server ?
Also you can ssh login your client by using the account "root", and check if any clues in /var/log/partimage*
