I have a small 30GB HD with Fedora 18 partitioned like this: 500MB /boot, 2GB swap (encrypted), 19GB / and 7GB /home (encrypted; want to enlarge it).
See gparted pic at http://ompldr.org/vZ29mZQ
The / partition (/dev/sda3) is very full on the pic because I already used Clonezilla to clone /dev/sda5 to an image that was saved there.
So I'm thinking this:
- can I just delete /dev/sda5 and recreate it with all the available space (thus enlarging it) and then restore the partition image there?
- does it make any difference if when I recreate /dev/sda5 I encrypt it or not?
Thank you.

I'll go with a simpler approach. I'll let go of the encryption and do a simple back-up/restore with luckybackup to an enlarged /home.
