i made a backup image of 2 HDDs on an external USB HDD.
I need to mount it in someway in order to run a tools like "ntfs undelete"
I was not able to mount the image. On the USB HDD there is a directory with name 2010-02-20-13-img and inside there are several files none of them with an known image extension (ex: ta.aa, ta.ab etc)
I need to mount it in someway like the Daemon tools and see the image so I can run undelete tools and recover some files that deleted accidentally
    Anybody can help me

    Osmose2015,

Thanks for using Clonezilla! You can try these instructions <http://drbl.sourceforge.net/faq/fine-print.php?path=./2_System/43_read_ntfsimg_content.faq#43_read_ntfsimg_content.faq> or it may be possible to restore the drive into a VirtualBox machine and run your tools in there.

If the files were deleted before the image was made, I doubt you would be able to recover them. Has anyone else here been able to recover deleted files from even a dd image?

Let us know what else you may need, good luck!

    Alan
