Hi,
we are trying to use clonezilla for the first time to take an image of a Linux server. We have take then backup, and then on our first attempt to restore the image we have seen we must modify the image due to the path to the boot disk being different on the source and destination machines. So we have run the command:
cnvt-ocs-dev voip-2013-03-27-18-img/ cciss/c0d0 sda
And then attempted the restore again, but unfortunately now we get the error:
In case we'd made a typo in the first instance we tried running:
cnvt-ocs-dev voip-2013-03-27-18-img/ sdap sda
But we get the same error. Are we doing something wrong? Any advise gratefully recieved,
thanks, Andy.
Thanks for the bug report. Now cnvt-ocs-dev does not work to convert cciss device name to sdx. We will fix that recently.
Steven.
Thanks Steven, this is now working with Clonezilla-live 2.1.1-23.
Got it. Thanks for confirming that.
Steven.
