I used an external HDD to save an image of the system I wanted to clone. Then somehow I unplug my Clonezilla thumb before the poweroff process ended. Now my external HDD with my image cant be detected even with a normal plug in to pc. Pls help. thx.

If the file system crashes, it's possible you can plug that one to another GNU/Linux machine to fix that. However, if it's hardware issue, then you have to find someone to fix that.
Steven.

I have had a similar problem. The only way out was a new formatting of the external HDD (vFAT or NTFS) with 'gparted live'.
And a new 'clonezilla savedisk'.
('sysresccd' couldn't help here)

The Linux will auto fix? Cause I tried plugging in but the HDD still not detected.
